Wade Goodsell rejoined Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) in 2018 after starting his career with WMC in 2010. Founded in 1911, WMC is the combined Wisconsin State Chamber of Commerce, Wisconsin Manufacturers' Association, and the Wisconsin Safety Council. WMC represents 3,800 employers of all sizes and from every sector of the economy, and is referred to as "the state's most powerful business and manufacturing group" by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
In 2020, WMC was recognized as the State Chamber of the Year for its advocacy, information delivery and general support of Wisconsin businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Prior to rejoining WMC, Goodsell spent four years in economic development leading domestic business attraction for the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and business development and incentives consulting for Baker Tilly. In 2016, Goodsell was recognized in the inaugural class of North America's Top 50 Economic Developers.
Wade serves as President for the Association of State Chamber Professionals and additionally on the boards of the Wisconsin Center for Manufacturing Productivity and Door Creek Church.
He is a graduate of Bethel University in St. Paul, MN and also graduated from the inaugural cohort of the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation's Business Leads Executive Fellowship.
