Beth Kitchings is the Vice President of Member involvement for the Mississippi Economic Council, the State Chamber of Commerce. She leads the team responsible for growing, engaging, and retaining the 10,000 plus membership base. MEC was recently named the State Chamber of the Year for 2022.

Beth has spent her career in communications, sales, and marketing and her experience includes working with Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations, and a regional marketing firm where she supervised a variety of accounts including Viking Range, Bank of the Ozarks, and The University of Mississippi.

Beth has served as an at-large member on the ASCP board for the past two years and was recently elected secretary. She is also President of the University of Mississippi School of Journalism and New Media Alumni Advisory Board and serves on the board of the Jackson-Hinds County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) organization. Beth holds a degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations from the University of Mississippi.
